Funnel…

Without a doubt, “Funnel Ball” is the most popular video in the history of our program. In a perfect storm of creativity, Will Nagle, Kurt Leone, Josh Mohn, and Mike Parsons created an original short film that simultaneously pays tribute to and spoofs not only “Dodgeball,” but also a slew of other Hollywood movies. Some of the movie references flash by in the blink of an eye, missed by many viewers, but there is more than enough original comedy here to make fans of those who’ve never seen a single film referenced indirectly in “Funnel Ball.”

To this day, two years later, students at MHS still make allusions to the jokes in “Funnel Ball.” People still regularly quote the movie in casual conversation. There has never been a bigger hit than this one, and it is the bar by which all other projects are judged. The only other video that can share a stage with it is the “Popsicle” boy band video, but more on that later. For now, please enjoy (split into two parts due to file-size limitations) the online world premiere of “Funnel Ball.”

We were also finally able to track down the BLOOPERS AND OUTTAKES from shooting the movie. It’s a hilarious addition to the movie itself, so be sure to check this out, as well:
