In historic fashion, the Freshman team came away as the champions of the 2016 MHS Powder Puff Tournament, the first time a freshman team has ever won it all. The freshmen, under the guidance of Coach Brandon Frost (who takes the throne as the Bill Belichick of Powder Puff football), held off a late charge from the juniors in game 1, and they were dominant in the championship game, building a 30-6 lead, and finishing with a 30-14 final. Congratulations to all who participated. Sportsmanship was outstanding by all teams throughout, which was wonderful to see. Highlights and coverage are available below.
