The Rams won a classic pitching match-up against Brookline in a 3-0 final. Kevin Kwedor pitched the complete-game 9-inning shutout on the mound for Marshfield, striking out 11 batters along the way. After his latest win, he is now the winningest pitcher in Marshfield High School history, and he lowered his ERA once again, which was 0.33 on the year coming into the game. The offensive star of the game was Johnny Ryan, who basically played on one leg with a hamstring injury, but he belted in all 3 runs scored in the game.
The Rams will be back in action in another home game against either Norwood or New Bedford in a game currently scheduled for Tuesday (depending on whether those teams get to play their scheduled game on Monday).
