Girls Basketball @ Plymouth North
Junior forward Nicole Beresford scored 21 points against the Eagles to lead the Rams to an 80-46 victory. In the process, Nicole broke the MHS all-time career scoring record for both boys and girls, which has been held by Carleton Chandler for the past 45 years. Beresford scored 10 points in the first quarter to pass Chandler’s 1,111-point milestone, and when she came out of the game early in the third quarter, her career total stood at the new benchmark of 1,124 points; from this point forward, every game Nicole plays for the rest of her career at MHS will be a record-breaking performance. We’re thrilled for Nicole and proud of her accomplishments. MSB traveled to Plymouth this evening to capture the monumental achievement, and we’ve got a field report and highlight reel available below.
