2009 MHS Mock Accident:done
The Marshfield fire and police departments did an amazing job in staging this simulated motor vehicle accident. The event sent a strong message to junior and senior students at MHS about what the results of drunk driving can truly look like up close.
A special thanks goes out to Marshfield police officer Robert Quigley (who is the student resource officer for Marshfield Public Schools), and MHS adjustment counselor Dr. Jeanine Smith for coordinating this event, which took months to plan.
Thanks also to MHS Principal Robert Keuther for all his support and assistance during the planning process.
And of course, we can’t forget our student actors, who were great about keeping this event a secret. The actors included juniors Bob MacNeil and Taylor Cuqua; sophomore Aaron Davis; seniors Phil Whitaker, Becca Donnelly, and Brandon Borror-Chappell; and a parent volunteer, Karen Whitaker, who served as our “fatal” victim as the driver of the second car.
