With so many projects on our slate at the end of the school year, we were only able to produce one edition of Top Ten Plays for last year’s spring sports season, but there’s plenty of excellent action to appreciate here.

This second edition of Top Ten Plays covers the second half of the 2007-2008 school year winter sports season.
This was our first-ever edition of Top Ten Plays. It has been a popular segment, and we try to do it at least once (preferably twice) per season.
The boys soccer team was in desperate need of a win going into their final home game of the season; unfortunately for them, a highly-ranked and hugely talented BC High team was slated to be their opponent in the seniors’ final game at Peter Deftos field. On paper, there was no chance of Marshfield getting the win in this match-up, but as they say, there’s a reason the games aren’t played on paper. Although BC High dominated possession for most of the game, the Rams capitalized on their chances when they presented themselves, allowing Marshfield to come away with a huge 2-1 win. MSB’s coverage of the action is available below.
